On the Road with Parallel Thoughts
When I balance myself between two quotes running through my mind's imaginarium, while the streets of the territory I cross each morning continue my thoughts. Or: What I observed Thursday morning, on my way to a meeting.
Right Hemisphere: “We must believe, therefore, that just as we see Saturn and Jupiter from here; if we were on either of those planets, we would discover a multitude of worlds we do not perceive now; and that the Universe stretches out infinitely in this way.”. - Cyrano de Bergerac
Left Hemisphere: “Neuroscience is a young science, only about a century old, and our scientific understanding of the brain is far from what we would like it to be. We know more about the moons of Jupiter than about what lies inside our skulls.”. - Matt Haig
